The steel rails curve away and disappear
through the woods. If the engineer is not in a hurry,
on a hot day he night stop and drink from the
fresh water spigot. The proprietor of the house
beside the track might amble over and chat awhile
with the engineer and crew, talking above the sound
of the locomotive. The train is then ready to roll on,
around the bend and across the mountains...
